PaperArtsy 2017 Topic #2: MASKS

Masks is the current topic on the PaperArtsy blog and this is my attempt at playing along. I started out with the idea of using my Infusions and had a play with some masks but it proved to be a bit tricky when you use lots of water.

I used PS007 and applied Pebeo Drawing Gum through the stencil with a brush. I then sprinkled Infusions "Are You Cerise" onto my craft mat, spritzed with water and dipped my card into it. I allowed the card to dry thoroughly before rubbing away the gum. Below is the end card mounted up with a sentiment.

I am quite pleased with the card and how it turned out.
Thank you for looking.

PaperArtsy blog challenge

The PaperArtsy blog challenge finished yesterday but I did make an Art Journal spread for it.
The theme was ORANGE & PINK.
The more I look at the bubbles, the more I think they ought to have a little face on the top, big pink one! Reminds me of a famous mouse.

I used Frescos, EEA 02, 03 AND 04 stamps in my creation.
I am now getting my head in gear for the new challenge which involves MASKS. I'm thinking a lot about this. We shall see.
Thanks for looking.

Latest makes

Well I've a lot to learn about blogs and posting, please bear with me!
First I would like to share a card I made last week for my great-nephew.
I used Paperartsy HP1206 on a background created using Fresco paints, stencils and some stamping. The sentiment is a Stampin Up one and the 18 using a micron sigma pen and a stencil.

Next I've spent today creating a card and a background. It took forever because I was sidetracked by Periscope postings and then my food shopping turned up and life really!

I'm far from happy with this post but it has taken me such a long time to get things together. I will search for a help tutorial and see if i can polish things up a bit for next time.
Take care.
